Wes Craft worked with Douglas Shaw’s Creative Director, Robert Johnson, to plan and create a series of vertically oriented cover shots. We wanted options in both dark and light settings with negative space for titles and text. We wanted an office desk setting as a 3rd option. We needed the author to read warmly, as a mentor and sagely advisor.
In addition to lighting and camera operation, Wes Craft Creative provided dark and light backgrounds. Wes set up on location at Douglas Shaw & Associates headquarters in Lisle, IL then spent about an hour with the subject, split into 2 half hour blocks with a set change period between.
